Job Description: Marketing Intern – Retention & Lifecycle Team (Disney+ Hotstar)

This internship opportunity is based in Singapore and offers a chance to contribute to the success of Disney+ Hotstar, the company’s leading streaming service in the region. As a Marketing Intern within the Retention & Lifecycle team, you will play a crucial role in driving customer engagement and retention through targeted campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Dedicated Project: Lifecycle Automation Campaign

• Collaborate with the marketing operations team to implement best practices for campaign execution.
• Develop strategies to enhance user engagement and retention through targeted campaigns.
• Design and implement customer journeys focused on engagement, retention, and winback objectives using CRM tools across various channels (push notifications, in-app, web, email).
• Analyze campaign performance using data measurement and share insights with stakeholders.

Campaign Management

• Maintain and update campaign calendars.
• Collaborate with agencies to ensure campaign deliverables meet objectives and timelines.
• Monitor campaign performance dashboards.
• Prepare campaign result decks for presentations.
• Manage campaign assets and distribution to key stakeholders.
• Liaise with agencies and freelancers to request copy and design for campaign needs.

Overall

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop marketing campaigns across direct communication channels (email, push notifications, in-app messages, App Store listings).
• Contribute to the planning and development of a marketing calendar for direct communications.
• Work with creative teams to secure assets for campaigns.
• Execute A/B testing and learn from campaign results.

Internship Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Strong willingness to conduct A/B testing and learn from customer and campaign data.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical and numerical skills are a plus.
• Knowledge or interest in Digital Marketing is an advantage.
• Enthusiasm and passion for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel.
• High level of self-motivation and meticulousness with a strong passion for the streaming industry.
• Adaptability to a constantly evolving organization and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong collaborative spirit.
• Proactive and inquisitive approach, proposing innovative solutions.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision needs, seeking opportunities to contribute to campaigns and projects.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
