About the Internship at Freeman/mdg

Are you looking to kickstart your career in marketing? This internship at mdg offers a fast-paced, tech-driven, and highly creative agency environment where you’ll support and collaborate with a dynamic team. As an Intern at Freeman/mdg, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and contribute meaningfully to clients’ marketing campaigns. You’ll work closely with diverse teams, collaborating on innovative projects, and developing professional communication and business strategy skills.

Beyond gaining hands-on experience in event marketing, you’ll also have the chance to network with other industry professionals, attend industry events, and gain exposure to the latest technologies and trends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Research: Assist in understanding clients’ industries, audiences, and competitors through primary and secondary research.
• Support: Provide valuable assistance to the account services team across various initiatives, including social media management and tactical planning.
• Learn: Gain insight into the daily operations of a marketing agency and explore potential career paths within the marketing world.

Education & Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing, communications, or general business, but other fields are also welcome).
• Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using social media and other digital tools, including Microsoft Office products.
• Available to work full-time for 10 weeks during the summer of 2024.
