Job Description: Marketing Intern
This Marketing Intern position will work closely with the Marketing Manager at Chartwells Higher Education to implement and promote the dining program at Pratt Institute. This is a dynamic role involving various aspects of marketing, from research and planning to promotions and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research & Planning: Conduct market research to understand the needs of the target market and contribute to the development of marketing plans and strategies.
• Campaign Development & Execution: Assist in brainstorming and developing promotional campaigns across various platforms, including social media, events, and print materials.
• Project Management: Spearhead various marketing projects and assist with the implementation of marketing initiatives.
• Event Planning & Management: Help plan, organize, and host events to promote the dining program at Pratt Institute.
• Social Media: Assist in developing and implementing the social media calendar, creating engaging content, and managing social media profiles.
• Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Chartwells Higher Education and the dining program at Pratt Institute.
• Content Creation: Create marketing materials, including graphics, brochures, signage, and website content, to effectively communicate messages to the target market.
• Administrative Tasks: Contribute to general administrative tasks related to marketing, including data entry, report generation, and managing marketing assets.
• Student Engagement: Survey students to gather feedback and collect marketing research.
• Meeting Participation: Attend meetings and other events as required.

Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service experience and knowledge
• Strong understanding of social media platforms
• Good to better interpersonal skills
• General interest and knowledge of marketing
• Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus
• Prior marketing related experience is a plus
