Marketing & Strategy Intern | LUPFR Entertainment

The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship at LUPFR Entertainment, located in Los Angeles with hybrid remote flexibility and required on-site event presence. LUPFR Entertainment redefines music experiences by blending non-traditional venues with curated artists to create unique events across Los Angeles and San Francisco. This intern will be crucial in owning and evolving the LUPFR brand across all public-facing channels, spanning both consumer-facing content and back-end strategy. The role drives real growth for an independent entertainment company being built in real time.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Social Media Management: Manage day-to-day content and community engagement across LUPFR’s Instagram and TikTok presence, assisting with caption writing, posting cadence, and platform-native content formats.
• Content Coordination & Capture: Coordinate closely with the videographer to ensure all visual content is on-brand and on schedule, and be present at events to support content capture and real-time coverage.
• B2B & PR Communications: Manage LUPFR’s professional LinkedIn presence for B2B communications and assist with PR efforts, including press outreach, media list development, and event coverage tracking.
• Email & SMS Marketing: Run and grow LUPFR’s email and SMS marketing lists using Klaviyo, developing event announcements, marketing campaigns, and audience segmentation strategies.
• Strategic Growth & Analytics: Contribute to broader growth strategies for the business alongside the founder, tracking performance analytics across platforms, and reporting on what drives effective results.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student with foundational knowledge in marketing and brand strategy, seeking real-world ownership and mentorship in the entertainment industry.
• Experience: Fluent understanding of Instagram and TikTok, demonstrating knowledge of what performs and how to build on it; comfortable writing for both consumer and professional audiences; experience with or willingness to learn Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing.
• Skills: Detail-oriented and brand-conscious approach to public-facing content; strong interest in developing growth strategies and thinking beyond individual posts; ability to identify relevant trends, formats, and cultural moments.
• Bonus: A passion for music, culture, and creative industries is a plus.
