The Role: What You’ll Do & Gain
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to direct marketing and digital campaign efforts while gaining invaluable hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the marketing landscape within a leading insurance provider. You will play a crucial part in supporting campaign execution, analysis, and strategic development, learning directly from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
- Customer Journey Documentation: Document the customer journey and create insightful journey maps.
- Email Campaign Support: Assist in selecting effective email subject lines, Calls to Action (CTAs), and other content blocks for email campaigns.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proof test emails for accuracy, functionality, and overall quality.
- Campaign Setup Assistance: Support the setup of campaign tracking for new initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Analyze web traffic, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and evaluate performance using Google Analytics and internal reports.
- Data Analysis for Improvement: Compile and analyze marketing data to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Market Research: Research new partners, emerging marketing tactics, industry trends, and growth opportunities.
- Competitive Analysis: Research competitors’ marketing strategies to identify new opportunities, gain insights to enhance campaign performance, and potentially document digital marketing activity for top competitors.
- Testing Opportunities: Identify and consider testing opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Integrated Campaign Identification: Identify opportunities for integrated marketing campaigns combining direct mail and digital channels.
- Segmentation & Targeting: Suggest new ideas for marketing to defined segments via digital or direct mail.
- Creative Strategy & Asset Development: Participate in informing creative strategy and assist with the asset development and approval process.
Learning & Development Opportunities: What You’ll Gain
- Direct Marketing Insight: Gain insight into Direct Marketing’s creative strategy and digital marketing activities.
- Campaign Fundamentals: Understand the basics of campaign setup, performance monitoring, analysis, testing, and optimization.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Participate in cross-departmental and agency meetings to observe engagement with various partners.
- Creative & Compliance Process: Learn about and participate in the creative development and compliance review process.
- Market Trends: Learn about the competitive landscape and current trends in digital marketing.
- Customer Journey Expertise: Understand the customer journey from the initial click to conversion.
- Data Onboarding: Overview and education on the data onboarding process.
- Data Analysis Skills: Hands-on training with pivot tables to view and analyze data.
- Sales Funnel & Objectives: Education on the sales funnel and various campaign objectives (awareness, consideration, conversion).
- Product Knowledge: Education on the different types of life insurance products offered by AAA Life.
Qualifications
Required Education & Skills
- Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing/Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Core Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
