Job Description: Marketing & Communications Intern
Job Summary: Marketing and Communications interns at Trimble contribute to the development and execution of marketing and communications plans. Responsibilities span various aspects of marketing, including product launches, media management, event planning, creation of communication tools, website management, demand generation, and press release development. Interns will collaborate closely with the worldwide marketing communications team, sales team, product managers, and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support marketing and communication initiatives under the direction of content directors, social media managers, or other marketing managers.
• Contribute to marketing and communications efforts by creating shareable content, identifying new platform opportunities, and analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Assist with the general needs of Trimble’s marketing and communication teams.
• Apply a creative mindset to improve projects, tasks, and processes to enhance business function and overall team effectiveness.
• Participate in planning and executing Trimble corporate and business events with both internal and external stakeholders.
Recommended Skills & Experience:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field.
• Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and resourcefulness skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear and engaging messaging.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, comfortable asking questions and suggesting new ideas.
• Results-oriented and confident in sharing ideas.
• Experience with Google Workspace; Microsoft Office Suite knowledge is a plus.
