This is a Marketing & Communications Intern position within the paid NextGen Internship Program at Hudson Pacific Properties. The internship spans 10 weeks and requires in-person work at the company’s headquarters in Los Angeles, starting June 15th, 2026. The pay rate is $23.00 an hour USD.
As an integral member of the Marketing & Communications team, the intern will contribute to day-to-day operations, assist with special projects, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to gain valuable real-world experience and exposure to the company’s inner workings.
What You’ll Do
• Support the Marketing & Communications team with daily operations and ongoing departmental projects, specifically in:
• Social Media Content Development & Channel Management:
• Support day-to-day social media activities across Hudson Pacific, Sunset Studios, and Quixote channels.
• Draft posts, shoot photo and video content, and curate visual assets.
• Maintain a forward-looking content calendar.
• Learn to use tools such as Sprout Social, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Conduct competitive and trend analysis, monitor engagement metrics, and propose optimizations to strengthen brand presence and audience growth.
• Cross-Functional Support for Brand & Communications Initiatives:
• Work closely with the Communications, Marketing, and Studios teams.
• Assist in capturing on-site content and supporting internal and external announcements.
• Collaborate on workflows like campaign planning, execution, and analysis, gaining exposure to cross-departmental collaboration and multi-channel communications strategy.
• Conduct research, organize data, and prepare reports or presentations as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance department goals.
• Complete a final Summer Showcase presentation outlining learned skills and work, presented to fellow interns and team members.
• Lead a Special Project – Social Media Strategy Enhancement or Campaign Build-Out:
• This project will be a focused initiative such as developing a refreshed social media strategy for a key business line, building a targeted campaign concept, or producing an analytics-driven insights report with recommended opportunities.
• It aims to strengthen skills in research, strategic planning, visual storytelling, and data interpretation, allowing for a tangible contribution.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
• Required Qualifications:
• Applicants must have recently completed (within the last 2 years) or be currently enrolled in an applicable college-level or trade school program.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Basic experience in social media management and content creation through coursework or hands-on experience in communications, marketing, digital media, or related fields.
• Familiarity with major platforms, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn, and an understanding of current social trends, short-form video best practices, and audience engagement principles.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills: ability to craft concise, on-brand messages tailored to different platforms.
• Experience with basic design or video-editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and comfort with digital tools: exposure to social media analytics tools (Sprout Social, native platform insights) and the ability to interpret data to inform content decisions. Curiosity about performance metrics and optimization.
• Collaborative working style and professionalism; experience working on group projects or in team environments.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns.
• Interest in broader communications and brand storytelling: demonstrating enthusiasm for marketing, brand identity, content strategy, or media/entertainment industries.
