This is a Co-Op position at ITW Performance Polymers, located in Danvers, MA. The TL;DR

• Pay: $28–$30 hourly
• Mission: Lead a capstone research project to identify new market opportunities, understand customer needs, and inform growth strategies across the product portfolio through primary and secondary market research.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization tools
What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Research: Conduct primary research through surveys, interviews, and field studies, alongside secondary research using industry reports and databases, to gather customer insights and analyze market trends.
• Segmentation Analysis: Support market segmentation analysis across multiple levels, including industry verticals, application types, geography, and customer profiles.
• Capstone Project Leadership: Lead a capstone research project focused on identifying new market opportunities, ultimately presenting actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Insight Synthesis: Synthesize comprehensive research findings into actionable insights, culminating in final presentations to internal stakeholders.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and R&D, to align research with broader business objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field; early career level.
• Experience: Prior internship or project experience in market research or strategy is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools, and a detail-oriented approach.
• Bonus: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
