Job Description: Marketing & BD Intern (REMOTE)
Koniag Government Services offers a paid internship within their Growth Organization. This remote opportunity provides experience in the Federal government consulting industry, allowing interns to develop new business skills and enhance their field of study. Interns will foster business relationships with KGS professionals and build a valuable professional network. KGS welcomes applications from eligible students interested in government contracting.
The internship offers hands-on learning and projects to build foundational knowledge, utilize research skills, and develop strong relationships through training, mentorship, and ongoing feedback. The ideal candidate will grow their skills in growth operations, business development, and government contracting.
Primary Duties:
• Administrative Support: Supporting marketing efforts and the creation of capability briefs.
• Project Coordination: Assisting with the development of a new SharePoint repository.
• Case Study Development: Creating basic draft past performance write-ups for projects completed within the past year, using contract data, project descriptions, and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
• Marketing Material Management: Tracking and managing marketing materials by strategic pillar.
• Meeting Coordination & Facilitation: Assisting with the coordination and facilitation of project meetings.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, technology, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; adaptability to change; creativity; self-confidence; leadership qualities; team-oriented and collaborative nature.
The start date is negotiable based on the student’s availability. US Citizenship is preferred.
