Job Description: Marketing and Sales Intern

Program Summary:

This 11-week summer internship (June 2nd – August 15th, 2025) offers opportunities for individual growth, professional development, and significant business exposure. Interns will primarily focus on their assigned area, with supplemental activities including:

• Weekly site visits.
• IKE (Information Knowledge Exchange) sessions with senior leadership.
• Skills workshops.
• Weekly coffee chats, including a session with the CEO.
• Final projects and presentations.
• Intern engagement events.

Job Responsibilities:

The intern will play a key role in supporting the launch of a new retail media tech platform and its associated marketing plan. Specific responsibilities include:

• Deep dive analysis of retail media analytics to develop data-driven growth strategies.
• Assistance in developing and optimizing retail marketing campaigns for key suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Active enrollment in an undergraduate or master’s program.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA (in-office Tuesday-Thursday, remote Monday-Friday).
• A proactive “can-do” attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
• Adaptability and eagerness to work with diverse stakeholders and handle varied tasks.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).

Compensation: The starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. BJ’s Wholesale Club notes that the final salary will vary based on factors like location, education, experience, and qualifications.
