Marketing and Project Management Intern | Crystal Dynamics
The Tone:
This is a remote internship at Crystal Dynamics, an esteemed game development studio with over 30 years of legacy in creating iconic franchises like *Tomb Raider*. This internship offers a direct view into AAA game creation, providing meaningful, hands-on work that directly contributes to active AAA projects, helping interns build industry-ready skills and professional relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Acquire: Learn and apply essential skills using industry-standard project management tools, presentation software, collaboration platforms, and basic analytics.
• Participate: Engage actively in brand, franchise, and project marketing aspects within game development, including campaign planning, brand alignment reviews, and cross-team coordination.
• Support: Assist mid, senior, and lead marketing team members by organizing marketing plans, tracking deliverables and timelines, preparing presentations, and conducting research.
• Enhance: Deepen your understanding of how brand strategy, franchise planning, and marketing initiatives are strategically aligned with game development milestones and overall studio goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a college Junior or Senior, with Senior graduates in Fall/Winter 2025 or Spring 2026 also eligible. Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Brand, Art, Game Art, Game Development, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the entire 12-week program from June 1st to August 21st, 2026. Must be able to work onsite for the first week of onboarding in San Carlos, CA, followed by 11 weeks of remote work. Legal eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Skills: A strong portfolio demonstrating foundational Marketing, Brand, or Project Management skills, showcasing work such as brand decks, marketing plans, campaign proposals, project plans, timelines, task tracking, coordination work, research, competitive analysis, or franchise studies. Must be willing to tackle challenges, learn from feedback, adapt to new tools and workflows, and communicate ideas effectively with an eagerness to implement feedback. A complete application including a resume, cover letter, and a link to your portfolio is mandatory.
• Bonus: Prior exposure to industry-standard marketing, planning, and organizational tools or workflows. Involvement in industry activities outside of formal classroom curriculum, such as game jams, personal projects, or contributions to group projects that exceed basic requirements.
