Marketing Intern Responsibilities
This specific internship focuses on the marketing side of film distribution and involves a wide range of tasks:
• Creating graphics for marketing assets: Design and develop visual materials for various marketing campaigns.
• Assisting with social media campaigns and calendars: Help manage social media presence, create content calendars, and implement social media strategies.
• Brainstorming and creating content for social channels: Develop engaging content for social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
• Competitive research for marketing materials and campaigns: Analyze competitors’ marketing strategies and identify best practices.
• Research and reports for the media department: Conduct research and prepare reports for the media team.
• Developing case studies and conducting other research projects: Contribute to research initiatives and case studies.
• Generating ideas for marketing campaigns for upcoming NEON releases: Brainstorm and pitch marketing ideas for new film releases.
• Engaging in grassroots outreach for current and upcoming NEON releases: Participate in grassroots marketing efforts to promote films.
• Creating comprehensive calendars for major events: Organize and manage calendars for award shows, online events, and other major film industry events.
• Assisting in various department projects: Provide support for other departments as needed, including distribution, acquisitions, and publicity.
• Providing support for special events and screenings: Assist with planning and execution of events and screenings.
• Offering general administrative assistance: Perform general administrative duties as needed.
