Job Description
Position Overview
Electra Vehicles, Inc. is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Communications Intern. This is a full-time, temporary, paid internship with an expectation of 40 hours per week. The internship will span two consecutive 3-month terms, totaling 6 months. The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate looking for comprehensive, hands-on marketing and communications experience. The intern will directly contribute to the team’s efforts by assisting with graphic design, event support (including CES Las Vegas), social media management, B2B marketing campaigns, and various operational tasks, with a strong focus on learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
• Graphic Design: Design and develop graphic content for presentation decks, brochures, and other marketing materials to support campaigns and presentations.
• Event Support: Assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of events, with a particular focus on CES Las Vegas. This includes gathering and analyzing participant information, managing logistics, and preparing reports on event effectiveness.
• Social Media Management: Manage and schedule content across platforms, especially LinkedIn, under the guidance of the marketing team. Responsibilities also include maintaining the editorial calendar for consistent content publication and analyzing social media performance to enhance engagement strategies.
• ABM & Marketing Campaign Support: Support the development and implementation of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and other marketing campaigns and automations by contributing ideas and research. This role involves assisting in maintaining the CRM (Hubspot) database to ensure accurate contact and lead information, and preparing reports on campaign effectiveness.
• Website Management Support: Assist with updating and managing the website’s content, ensuring all information is current and aligns with SEO best practices. The intern will also monitor website analytics and contribute to improving user engagement and traffic.
Qualifications And Requirements
• Education/Experience: Currently studying, recently graduated, or possessing equivalent experience/training in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Language: Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Personal Attributes: Proactive, curious, and a team player with excellent organizational abilities.
• Learning Orientation: Eager to learn and grow in areas such as marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot), SEO, and digital marketing.
• Design Passion: Passionate about design, with keen attention to detail and a flair for visuals (familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media tools.
