Marketing and Brand Project Management Intern | Crystal Dynamics

The Tone:
This is a 12-week remote internship at Crystal Dynamics, with an initial onboarding week in San Carlos, CA. Crystal Dynamics has a 30-plus year legacy of developing new and iconic game franchises, including Tomb Raider. This internship offers meaningful, hands-on work on active AAA projects, providing a direct view into world-class game creation and helping interns build industry-ready skills. It aims to deepen understanding of how world-class games are made and form strong professional relationships within the gaming industry.

• Mission: Support marketing initiatives for AAA game projects by organizing plans, tracking deliverables, and coordinating across teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Acquire: Learn essential skills using industry-standard project management, planning, and presentation software, as well as collaboration platforms.
• Participate: Engage in various game development aspects of brand, franchise, and project marketing, including campaign planning and brand alignment reviews.
• Support: Assist mid, senior, and lead marketing team members by organizing marketing plans, tracking deliverables and timelines, and preparing presentations.
• Coordinate: Gather reference and research, and assist with coordination across internal and external teams for marketing initiatives.
• Enhance: Deepen your understanding of how brand strategy, franchise planning, and marketing initiatives align with game development milestones and studio goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled as a college Junior or Senior (graduating Fall/Winter 2025 or Spring 2026), pursuing a degree in Marketing, Brand, Art, Game Art, Game Development, or related fields.
• Experience: Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the 12-week program (June 1st – August 21st, 2026). Able to work onsite in San Carlos, CA for the first week of onboarding and remotely for the remaining 11 weeks. Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Skills: Demonstrated foundational Marketing, Brand, or Project management skills, evidenced by a portfolio including brand decks, marketing plans, campaign proposals, project plans, or research.
• Bonus: Exposure to industry-standard marketing, planning, and organizational tools or workflows, along with industry involvement outside classroom curriculum, such as game jams or personal projects.
