About The Company:

The Hunton Group is a leading HVAC industry player with a corporate office located at Westpark 77042 in Houston, TX. They are seeking a hands-on Marketing & Administrative Intern to support their cross-functional marketing efforts and contribute to initiatives that drive corporate and commercial success.

Job Description:

The Marketing & Administrative Intern will assist the marketing team with both creative and operational tasks. This is a paid, part-time internship ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual eager to learn about the inner workings of a busy corporate marketing team. The intern will gain exposure to event planning, social media strategy, internal communications, branding, and more.

What You’ll Do:

Marketing & Communications:
• Assist in maintaining and updating the Project Highlights section of the Hunton intranet using internal news and social media content.
• Support social media content planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Create flyers, blog posts, internal announcements, and other marketing materials.
• Help update website content, imagery, and SEO across all corporate websites.
• Gather data and insights for digital campaigns and track marketing performance metrics.
Brand & Event Support:
• Organize inventory, marketing storage areas, trade show materials, employee gifts, and branded swag.
• Inspect and coordinate repairs for banners and promotional displays.
• Assist in preparing the corporate office and conference rooms for marketing events and internal presentations.
• Take the lead in securing a headshot photographer.
• Organizing employee photo files accordingly.
Administrative Coordination:
• Order business cards and create employee ID badges.
• Support internal engagement programs like Hunton Cares and employee recognition efforts.
• Maintain organized archives of marketing tools, images, and collateral.
• Help improve the layout, aesthetics, and resource management of the corporate office space.
Special Projects:
• Take ownership of internal marketing tasks and impromptu projects as they arise.
• Collaborate with other departments while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements:

• A current student or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• A strong communicator with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms, Canva, or basic graphic design tools is a plus.
• Comfortably working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Energized by learning opportunities and happy to pitch in wherever needed.

Bonus Points For:

• 1–2 years of work or internship experience in marketing or admin support roles.
• Experience writing content, creating graphics, or supporting digital campaigns.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
