Description: Manufacturing Technician Intern

Texas Instruments is seeking Manufacturing Technician Interns who will be responsible for performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will utilize diagnostic equipment and various vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions.
• Work on complex mechanical assemblies, including assembly, disassembly, and reassembly.

Ideal Candidate:

• Enrolled in a certificate or AAS program in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of vacuum, RF, AC/DC and digital electronic theory.
• Comfortable with repetitive motion and occasional heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs).

Location: South Portland, Maine

Shift: 12-hour shifts on a fixed, compressed schedule, allowing for 3-4 days off in a row with built-in overtime.
