About the Job

TI is seeking Manufacturing Technician Interns to join its team. These interns will play an invaluable role in the company’s efforts to shape the future of electronics.

Equipment Technician Intern

• Responsible for performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Utilizes diagnostic equipment and vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions

Process Technician Intern

• Responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area
• Monitors, audits, and provides guidance to line operators
• Tests new products and provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Enrolled in a technical certificate or AAS program in a related field
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

• Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance
• Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems
• Excellent organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
