Job Description:
Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Production, Planning and Control organization as a Manufacturing Planner (Early Career) in Arlington, TX. This role is responsible for coordinating and expediting the movement of parts throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scheduling and Expediting: Manage the movement of parts using move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with various departments including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Traffic, and Contracts Administration.
• Communication and Travel: Communicate effectively with all production sites and vendor locations. Travel may be required.
• Flexibility: Work outside of normal operating hours as needed to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Preferred degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, but other disciplines will be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated interest in a manufacturing career
• Experience with Inventory Control and material handling
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification is a plus
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, so you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• Clearance Level: Secret

• This role offers the opportunity for part-time remote telework.
• Lockheed Martin provides a variety of alternate work schedules, including condensed schedules for increased flexibility.
• This position offers a 4×10-hour day schedule with 3 days off per week.
