Manufacturing Engineer Co-op Program

This program offers a 12-week co-op experience at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant during the Fall term.

Key features of the program:

Description

Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op, you will contribute to the success of Owens Corning’s manufacturing operations by:

Improving processes and products: Identify and implement solutions to optimize production efficiency.
Increasing productivity: Develop strategies and implement initiatives to boost output.
Eliminating waste: Analyze and reduce waste in the manufacturing process.
Enhancing safety practices: Promote a safe and compliant work environment.
Developing leadership skills: Lead teams and effectively communicate with colleagues.
Leveraging data and analytics: Make informed decisions based on data analysis.

Currently pursuings:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM field.
Experience: Previous relevant internship/co-op experience in a manufacturing setting.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in professional, service, or social organizations.
Relocation: Willingness and flexibility to relocate to various manufacturing sites in the US.
