Manufacturing Engineer Asc (PAC-3 Command Launch System)
You will serve as the Manufacturing Engineer Asc for the PAC-3 Command Launch System (CLS) Program Manufacturing Engineering team. This team is integral to supporting all aspects of manufacturing and assembly of the PAC-3 CLS, collaborating with both internal make sites and external suppliers. This role is crucial for fulfilling current contract requirements and securing future business for the program.
As a key point of contact, you will engage frequently with various disciplines, including Design Engineering, Production Operations, Quality Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Production Planning and Control, Contracts, Master Planning, and Program Management. Building positive relationships, effective communication across functional and physical boundaries, and managing cost, schedule, quality, and safety are critical for this position.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Working on Notice of Change (NOC).
- Collaborating with the Production Planning and Control (PP&C) group, manufacturing engineers from different Lockheed Martin sites, and engineering teams.
- Working on PAC-3 program tooling.
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
Location & Security Clearance:
- This position is located in Arlington, TX.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance.
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Clearance Level: Secret
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing/Assembly/Machining.
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) experience.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility requiring special access.
Desired Skills:
- Hands-on experience in tooling and fixturing.
- Experience in reading/reviewing engineering drawings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Internship experience in Manufacturing.
