The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Let’s Play Soccer, located in Colorado Springs, CO. Let’s Play Soccer is The Indoor Soccer Company, dedicated to uniting people for the love of the Beautiful Game and making a positive impact on and in people’s lives through soccer and acts of service. This Manager in Training role is your foundational step into leadership, crucial for learning what it takes to run a high-performing facility by building teams, growing revenue, and creating great experiences, all while preparing you for a General Manager position.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $45000–$54000 yearly
• Team: This role reports to the General Manager and helps lead the facility’s operational team.
• Mission: This role is responsible for learning to manage all aspects of indoor soccer facility operations to grow into a General Manager, uniting the community through the love of the game.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Learn to recruit, train, schedule, and coach team members with guidance from your General Manager.
• Revenue Support: Assist with league registration, memberships, and local partnerships to support revenue growth.
• Operational Management: Help manage daily operations including scheduling, payroll, inventory, safety, and maintenance.
• Customer Experience: Greet players, resolve issues, and help every guest feel valued to deliver great experiences.
• Career Growth: Track your progress and actively prepare for promotion to General Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, indicating a readiness for a leadership career path.
• Experience: Leadership or supervisory experience gained in sports, retail, hospitality, or operations, alongside sales or customer service experience.
• Skills: Strong leadership abilities, effective customer service, sound operational management, and proactive problem-solving.
• Bonus: Spanish/English bilingual communication skills, a background in soccer or team sports, and a genuine passion for leading people and growing programs.
