Manager, Corporate Development | Mondelēz International
The Tone:

This role is crucial to the company’s long-term growth, as you will evaluate and manage new business opportunities, including acquisitions and partnerships, that influence company-wide investment initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Transaction Execution: Oversee aspects of transaction execution, including project management, due diligence, and valuation.
• Develop Business Propositions: Collaborate with business unit leaders and functional experts to create business propositions reflecting overall strategic evaluation.
• Perform Financial Analysis: Build comprehensive pro-forma financial models, valuation analyses (like discounted cash flow), and synergy models for potential transactions.
• Present Recommendations: Create and deliver high-quality presentation materials and recommendations to senior leaders and decision makers.
• Prioritize M&A Transactions: Assess and prioritize M&A opportunities across the company to best align with corporate strategy and growth objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with a top-tier academic background, strong foundation in Finance and Accounting principles.
• Experience: 4 or more years of M&A experience at an investment bank, private equity firm, venture capital firm, or corporate development group, with extensive valuation experience.
• Skills: Strong quantitative and analytic skills, advanced modeling skills, project management skills, broad financial acumen including corporate finance principles, and excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about the global food industry dynamics, integrity and sound judgment, and a willingness to challenge assumptions to establish best practices.
