Corporate Development Manager | DoorDash
The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote-first role at DoorDash, with some domestic and international travel expected. DoorDash is a technology and logistics company focused on enabling door-to-door delivery for all goods. The Corporate Development team is a small, high-performing group responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing M&A and investments. This team is central to DoorDash’s continued growth, and this role directly identifies and executes transformative acquisitions and investments globally that accelerate the company’s strategic objectives.

• Mission: Identify and execute transformative acquisitions and investments globally that accelerate or increase the likelihood of DoorDash achieving its strategic objectives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Execution: Participate in all stages of the deal cycle, from sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and integration.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with leaders at emerging and established companies, as well as with investment banking, venture capital, and private equity firms.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate diligence, deal execution, and integration across cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, product, finance, accounting, and legal.
• Strategic Identification: Research and recommend industries, companies, and technologies for M&A or investment to accelerate DoorDash’s strategic goals.
• Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and presentations to analyze the industry and track prospective M&A opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting.
• Skills: Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, and broad quantitative analysis, with familiarity in basic accounting principles. Possesses strategic and analytical capabilities, demonstrates a strong interest in the local delivery economy, and understands the competitive landscape. Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional senior executives in an evolving environment.
