Corporate Development Manager | Intuit

• Mission: This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives to drive Intuit’s growth and operational excellence.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Execution: Drive the entire M&A process, encompassing inorganic strategies, market scans, target valuation, due diligence, and deal negotiations.
• Due Diligence Management: Manage a comprehensive due diligence process that involves several Intuit functions.
• Financial Analysis: Apply rigorous financial and valuation acumen to assess M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Executive Communication: Prepare written narratives and make presentations to business unit leaders and senior corporate executives.
• Strategic Insight Generation: Leverage AI and cutting-edge technologies to optimize deal evaluation, market intelligence, and the generation of strategic insights, thereby enhancing the precision and velocity of team deliverables.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level, with an MBA or equivalent experience desired. Possesses core domain knowledge in corporate development, venture capital/private equity, or investment banking.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in corporate development, venture capital/private equity, or investment banking. Direct experience owning and managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders in driving the M&A process is required.
• Skills: Excellent valuation/analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and a keen business sense. Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and meeting facilitation skills are essential.
• Bonus: A desire to be a key leader in an active deal team that regularly engages with start-up and established tech companies, investors, and advisory executives. The ability to both lead and support, a well-rounded interpersonal skill set, and a proven ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure are also valued.
