The Tone:
This is a 12-month rotational Management Trainee Program at Butterball, with primary locations in Mount Olive, NC, Garner, NC, and Huntsville, AR. This program is essential for developing the next generation of manufacturing and operations leaders, offering comprehensive exposure to the business and preparing individuals for a successful career with Butterball.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Explore: Rotate through multiple departments and business functions to gain a broad understanding of Butterball’s operations and team collaboration.
• Cultivate: Build relationships with leaders and team members across the company through rotational experiences, mentorship, and collaboration.
• Analyze: Learn how leaders across the organization drive results through communication, employee development, problem-solving, and teamwork.
• Integrate: Learn and apply company standards related to safety, animal welfare, food quality, environmental compliance, and team member engagement.
• Acquire: Develop the foundational skills needed to lead teams effectively in a manufacturing environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree (expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2027) in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Food Science, Agriculture, Business, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership, internship, co-op, campus involvement, work experience, or other developmental experiences.
• Skills: Adaptable and comfortable navigating new environments, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, curious and eager to learn, willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Bonus: Experience in agriculture, poultry, food manufacturing, operations, or a related industry.
