Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Intern, you will actively contribute to our team through the following:

• Provide direct support to the maintenance team.
• Assist the team engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds.
• Opportunity to help establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
• Learn from experienced professionals who maintain production equipment to meet organizational standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
• Gain experience in requisitions for tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Shadow training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair equipment programs and procedures, all while adhering to the highest safety expectations.
• Complete and present a project focused on addressing specific issues within the maintenance department, providing real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year university or actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Compensation

• Competitive pay of $21/hour.
• A generous $2,500 relocation stipend.
