• Mission: Maintain the facility, grounds, and equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Grounds & Facility Upkeep: Maintain the entire facility and its grounds, ensuring they are kept in a safe, clean, and efficient operating condition for all occupants and visitors.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of all equipment within the facility, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are consistently met.
• Regulatory Compliance: Implement and manage maintenance practices that strictly adhere to all current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure legal and operational integrity.
• Culture Development: Play a key role in building a positive and supportive facility culture, fostering an environment where residents, families, and staff feel valued and understood.
• Safety & Efficiency Management: Implement and enforce protocols to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all systems and infrastructure, proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level professional with a foundational understanding of comprehensive facility maintenance principles and operations, prepared to uphold safety and regulatory standards.
• Experience: Candidates must possess previous experience in a maintenance capacity.
• Skills: Core skills include proficiency in facility and grounds upkeep, equipment maintenance and repair, adherence to federal, state, and local standards, and the ability to contribute to a positive organizational culture.
• Bonus: Previous experience specifically within a nursing home setting is preferred, along with demonstrated supervisory experience for this leadership role.
