What You’ll Actually Do
• Mail Processing: Process incoming and outgoing mail for accurate distribution to designated box locations and delivery service points.
• Customer Support: Assist Mail Services customers by providing precise information regarding shipping methods, costs, and resolving mailbox operation issues.
• Equipment Operation: Operate mail processing equipment to ensure accuracy, apply appropriate postage, and generate necessary mail reports.
• Mail Delivery: Maintain reliable mail delivery services, including timely pick-up and drop-off of mail and packages, securing signatures for accountable mail.
• Inventory Management: Manage and re-order supplies, tickets, and transit materials to ensure continuous operational readiness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Foundational understanding of mail services and logistical support within an organizational setting.
• Experience: Valid applicable state driver’s license required. Previous mail services experience preferred.
• Skills: Effective communication skills to assist diverse customers; ability to lift moderate to heavy weights (35 lbs. to 70 lbs. or more); adequate driving proficiency for safe operation of a delivery van.
