Welcome to an exciting opportunity at HERE Technologies, a leader in location data and technology. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as an Intern, contributing to the development of cutting-edge ML features for our dynamic content products.

What’s the Role?

As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the new Multiple Industry organization’s dynamic content product ML features development and implementation. This involves a collaborative effort with data scientists, architects, and research engineers to bring innovative solutions to life.

• Working with data scientists, architects, and researcher engineers to support the new Multiple Industry organization dynamic content product ML features development and implementation.
• Data collection, filtering, analysis, and algorithm implementation.
• Probe and sensor data analysis to improve our overall dynamic product quality.
• Support the intersection travel time analysis using probe data and ML algorithm development.
• Origin/Destination Trips modeling.
• Intersection modeling.

We are seeking enthusiastic and talented undergraduate students who are eager to make an impact. If you have a passion for data, machine learning, and innovation, we encourage you to apply!

• Undergraduate students in CS or CE or other Engineering area.
• Proven ability to quickly prototype in languages like Python, Java/Java Script, Scala, JDBC, Tableau.
• Experience in Amazon Web Services, Glue, IceBerg, ECS/EKS, Athena, Redshift, SageMaker will be a big plus.
• Solid experience in developing new research ideas and implementing prototype systems in a timely manner.
• Ability to efficiently write technical reports and communicate results.
• High motivation team player.

Education & Compensation

This is a full-time paid internship, requiring 20 to 40 hours per week, with a competitive fixed hourly rate based on your educational level:

• Undergraduate Students: $25/hr
• Graduate Students: $30/hr
• PhD Students: $35/hr
