Machine Learning Annotator Job Description

Fi is seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Machine Learning Annotator to join their dynamic team. This contract role offers flexible hours (20+ hours per week) and plays a key role in the success of their machine learning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Review and annotate video footage: Thoroughly examine video data to apply accurate labels and annotations, ensuring consistency and high-quality datasets.
Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed and organized logs of all annotations, ensuring they’re up-to-date and accessible for further analysis.
Collaborate with ML engineers: Partner with machine learning engineers, providing feedback and insights to improve data accuracy, model performance, and overall workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience: 0-2 years of experience (including internships) in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Technical Skills: Experience with video editing or annotation tools (nice-to-have); familiarity with machine learning workflows (nice-to-have); basic Python (nice-to-have).
Passion: Strong interest in Machine Learning and AI; genuine love of dogs (must-have).

Compensation:

The anticipated base rate for this position is $16-18 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
