Apple’s AIML organization is at the forefront of the machine learning revolution, using the company’s integrated hardware and software to deliver amazing user experiences while prioritizing privacy. They work across the entire field of Machine Learning, including large language models, diffusion models, reinforcement learning, and related areas like accessibility, privacy, and fairness.

AIML Internship Description:

As an AIML intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Explore cutting-edge methods: Dive into new techniques and approaches within the field of machine learning.
• Solve ambitious problems: Apply your skills to tackle challenging problems that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
• Advance state-of-the-art technology: Contribute to research projects and publications that will shape the future of machine learning.
• Challenge existing norms: Question and improve existing metrics and protocols within the field.

You’ll be collaborating with researchers, engineers, and program/project managers to tackle innovative challenges. You’ll receive technical mentorship and guidance, enabling you to gain practical skills, build real-world experience, and deepen your understanding of the industry.

Together with your team, you will partner to design and implement an innovative solution to a meaningful Machine Learning problem. At the end of your internship, you will present your work to AIML leadership. Depending on the nature of your project, you might even have the opportunity to submit your work for publication at a suitable conference.
