Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst | SR Staffing

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SR Staffing, located in Denver, CO. Our client is a growing transaction advisory team that partners with private equity firms, strategic acquirers, and business owners on complex middle-market and lower middle-market transactions. This role is crucial for performing financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings analyses, turning complex financial data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
Conduct Due Diligence: Perform Quality of Earnings (QofE) analyses and comprehensive financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, working capital trends, EBITDA adjustments, cash flow drivers, and key operating metrics to provide insights into deal performance.
Develop Financial Models: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) valuations, Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) analyses, and scenario and sensitivity analyses.
Assess Opportunities and Risks: Evaluate financial, operational, and customer data to identify trends, potential risks, and value creation opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making.
Prepare Client Deliverables: Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, management presentations, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), teasers, and other executive-level client deliverables.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Candidates should possess core domain knowledge in Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), Mergers & Acquisitions, Investment Banking, or transaction-focused public accounting.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in transaction-related roles is required, with hands-on Quality of Earnings (QofE) experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling is essential. Candidates must have a strong understanding of EBITDA adjustments, working capital analyses, cash flow analysis, and financial statement review. Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills are also required, along with the ability to manage multiple engagements effectively.
• Bonus: CPA certification is preferred, and an MBA is considered a plus. Experience with Capital IQ, PitchBook, or similar research platforms is also beneficial.
