Shmeel is currently relaunching under a new name and concept in 2025, aiming to introduce innovative and stylish designs to the fashion industry.

Job Description:

Shmeel is seeking a Luxury Fashion Design Intern for a hybrid internship role located in New York, NY. The intern will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the relaunch and new concept development. The role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of fashion design.

Responsibilities:

The intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to:

• Fashion Design: Assisting with the design process, from concept to development.
• Graphic Design: Creating visual assets and assisting with branding elements.
• Fashion Styling: Contributing to styling for photoshoots and other visual content.
• Textiles: Researching and sourcing fabrics and trims.
• Sewing: Assisting with sample creation and garment construction.

Location and Structure:

This is a hybrid internship role based in New York, NY, with some work from home possible.

Compensation:

This is an UNPAID internship. However, college credit can be provided, and the role has the potential to evolve into a longer-term paid position.
