Job Description:

Position: Logistics Analyst

Team: Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice, which focuses on serving federal, state, and local government clients, as well as public higher education institutions. Specific Offering: The Supply Chain & Network Operations Offering, which helps clients transform their value chains into a competitive advantage. This team drives efficiency, improves flexibility, and increases responsiveness by providing proactive insights and enhancing decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

High-Value Analysis: Analyze logistics information and support the development of engagements, exercises, and briefings for stakeholders.
Operational Optimization: Identify operational use cases for logistics enhancements, assess and recommend emerging logistics tools and methodologies, and identify use cases for logistics capabilities enhancements.
Data Coordination: Coordinate access to critical logistics data.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective working relationships with the Government’s program managers.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate robust interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Decision Making: Make decisions in ambiguous situations to meet deadlines.

Specific Focus: This role will involve understanding U.S. posture in the Indo-Pacific, representing resources in an automated system, comprehending operational information flow to decision-makers, and ensuring that logistics data is well represented and integrated into the wargaming process.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be well versed in the joint planning process (JPP) and understand the information needed to successfully integrate logistics operations into operational design and COA development. Additionally, they must be well versed in policies, military organization, and capabilities of partner countries in the AOR (Area of Responsibility), as well as Service Component Command staff functions and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
• 10+ years of experience in DoD in a plans, operations, or logistics related field/program
• 3+ years of experience with SOCPAC specific OPLANs, CONPLANs or Theater Campaign Plans

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $114,000 to $190,000.
