Locksmith Helper | Locksmith
The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site Locksmith Helper role based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. Locksmith is a local service provider dedicated to offering reliable, timely, and professional residential, commercial, and automotive lock and key solutions to customers throughout the Denver Metropolitan Area. This role is a foundational step, providing an opportunity to work closely with experienced locksmiths and contribute to solving critical access and security issues. The work environment is hands-on, focused on practical problem-solving, clear communication, and courteous customer interactions, with ample opportunities to learn trade skills and grow professionally within the locksmith industry.

• Mission: To assist licensed locksmiths in solving access and security issues for customers efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Service Support: Assist licensed locksmiths with daily service calls.
• Equipment Management: Prepare tools, organize equipment, and maintain a clean and safe work vehicle and workspace.
• Task Execution: Support lock installation, repair, and rekeying tasks, including basic key cutting.
• Administrative Assistance: Document work performed and assist with inventory of parts and supplies.
• Customer Interaction: Provide courteous support during customer interactions on-site and follow all safety procedures while using tools.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level professional with a strong interest in acquiring specialized locksmith trade skills, including practical knowledge of lock installation, repair, and basic key cutting techniques.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively use basic hand and power tools in a professional setting, combined with a capacity to meticulously follow detailed instructions provided on-site during service calls.
• Skills: Possesses strong customer service capabilities, excellent communication skills for interacting with both customers and colleagues, and a collaborative teamwork ethic. Additionally, the role requires reliable transportation to various service locations across the Denver Metropolitan Area, ensuring punctuality for all shifts, and a steadfast commitment to safety, integrity, and maintaining customer privacy and security at all times.
• Bonus: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; prior experience gained in a mechanical, construction, or maintenance-related role is considered a significant advantage; and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is also preferred.
