Department: Live Events Marketing, Promotion, and Operations
This dynamic department is at the heart of WWE’s live show ecosystem. It is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of WWE’s weekly live shows and events, from initial conception to successful execution. Key functions include:
- Booking and securing event venues.
- Contract negotiation and finalization with venues.
- Strategic ticket pricing and scaling to optimize attendance and revenue.
- Comprehensive business operations management from start to finish.
- Extensive digital marketing and ad buys.
- Full-spectrum promotion for all WWE’s live events, including talent integration.
Responsibilities:
As a Live Events Intern, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience and a 360-degree view of WWE live events by actively working across various critical departments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Engage with departments such as Creative, Accounting, Legal, Digital, and Production to understand the holistic process of event management.
- Event Lifecycle Support: Learn, observe, and directly support core functions including event venue booking, comprehensive event planning, strategic ticket pricing, promotional activities, and production logistics.
- Promotional Verification & Reporting: Verify promotions across various event-specific digital properties. Support the production team in creating TV and digital spot promos and handle ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Marketing Logistics Execution: Work directly with Live Event team members to execute all aspects of event marketing logistics, ensuring seamless operation.
- Real-time Information Management: Assist with updating event information in real-time across multiple platforms, including social media, digital channels, and internal reporting systems.
- Data Management: Manage Live Event reporting and tracking systems, which includes data entry and extraction.
The internship schedule is Monday through Friday, generally 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, onsite in Stamford, CT.
Qualifications:

- Expert in working in Excel to assist with ad hoc reporting; Excel is a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator preferred.
Program Details:
This internship is part of a broader program offering opportunities across IMG, On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), TKO Corporate, UFC, and WWE. Locations include New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Raleigh, Dallas, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and Stamford, CT. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless explicitly noted otherwise.
In addition to hands-on experience and unique exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns will participate in enriching events such as:
- Welcome and farewell sessions.
- A dynamic speaker series featuring company leaders.
- Career training workshops covering LinkedIn profile enhancement, resume building, interviewing skills, and networking strategies.
Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location.
Important Dates:
Please note the following key dates for the internship program:
- By February 2nd: Internships are posted to our career sites.
- February 28th: Applications will be accepted through this date.
- March 1st to March 27th: Recruiters will contact selected candidates and begin the interview process.
- March 30th to April 17th: Offers will be extended to selected candidates.
- May 18th: Program start date.
- The program will be 12 weeks in length, running from May 18th through August 7th.

Our program is specifically designed for rising juniors, rising seniors, and those within six months of graduation from an undergraduate university, unless otherwise noted.
