Disney Live Events Internship

Description:

This internship offers the exciting opportunity to join the Disney Live Events team in Southeast Asia, contributing to the creation and production of high-quality live character events. The intern will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of event management and production.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Production: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations, meet character event requirements, and maintain safety standards. Manage vendor relationships to ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets.
Resource Management: Maintain an up-to-date database of performers in the region. Assist the Assistant Manager with talent management (emcees, dancers, performers) for appearances and events. Coordinate performer schedules and payments.
Costuming and Physical Assets: Support the Costuming department in meeting event requirements and assist with costume operations.
Overall: Contribute creative concepts and ideas, leverage available assets, and complete a local Live Character event from start to finish. Provide insights and identify trends in the social media landscape.

Internship Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Strong interest in event production or event management.
• Enthusiasm for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel brands.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and contribute to campaign and project goals.
• Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong guest service orientation and ability to handle confidential information.
• Creative mindset with data-driven approach to strategy development.
• Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Internship Availability:

• Full-time commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2025.
