Personal Injury Litigation & Trial Paralegal | The McKee Law Group, LLC

This is a full-time, in-office role at The McKee Law Group, LLC, located in Davie, Florida. The firm is an established and growing personal injury law firm dedicated to representing plaintiffs. This role is crucial for supporting attorneys through every stage of personal injury cases, ensuring efficient case management and successful trial preparation from intake to trial.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Oversee personal injury cases from new client intake through discovery, settlement, and trial.
• Document Preparation: Draft and file a variety of legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests/responses, and motions.
• Coordination & Scheduling: Manage calendaring of deadlines and coordinate appointments with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Financial Documentation: Prepare demand packages, mediation summaries, and settlement disbursement documentation.
• Trial Support: Assist attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation and provide on-site or virtual support during trial proceedings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-level role requiring an Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, focused on plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in personal injury litigation, including trial preparation, and strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing protocols.
• Skills: Excellent legal writing, grammar, and proofreading skills; strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume caseloads; proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
• Bonus: Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
