• Mission: To provide essential project and administrative support to legal teams, ensuring the accurate management of legal data and documentation for client matters and litigation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee project documentation: Assist with special project work for the practice group, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of various databases and systems to perform daily tasks.
• Manage legal data: Analyze, enter, and maintain client/matter and subject/case matter information into databases following established procedures.
• Support litigation and discovery: Assist with compiling, reviewing, summarizing, and coding pertinent documents for litigation and discovery projects.
• Prepare and maintain case files: Set up client files for complex projects, including documents for depositions, productions, and trial exhibits.
• Handle administrative and financial tasks: Provide necessary information for client billing requirements and process vendor invoices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of database functionality and information management principles within a professional or legal context.
• Experience: Experience in data entry, information maintenance, and performing database searches. Familiarity with preparing routine documents using document assembly software and modifying electronic data files.
• Skills: Database management, data analysis, document preparation, information retrieval, and calendaring/docketing.
• Bonus: Ability to participate in the physical setup of trial materials and provide onsite trial support; experience assisting with paper and/or electronic data collection projects and uploading data to client-owned databases; capacity to communicate with clients or outside parties under direction.
