This Litigation Paralegal position is crucial for providing essential support to attorneys, managing key case aspects, and ensuring the efficient handling of records, trial preparation, and expert coordination. • Mission: Provides critical support to attorneys by managing key aspects of cases, ensuring efficient handling of records, trial preparation, and expert coordination.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, legal research tools, e-filing systems.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Subpoena Management: Draft, issue, track, and coordinate service of process for subpoenas, including managing the production of records.
• Expert Witness Support: Assist with retaining expert witnesses, coordinate communication, compile expert reports, and aid in deposition and trial preparation.
• Trial Preparation: Organize and prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and demonstrative evidence, providing logistical support to attorneys.
• Case Management & Discovery: Maintain and organize case files, track deadlines, assist with document review, and draft or respond to discovery requests.
• Court Filings & Administrative Support: File pleadings and motions in state and federal courts using e-filing systems, and communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires an Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certification, along with strong knowledge of subpoena procedures, court rules, and civil litigation processes.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience gained within a law firm or legal setting.
• Skills: Demonstrated excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and legal research tools is required, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically with trial preparation and expert witness coordination.
