Paralegal | Professional Alternatives

What You’ll Actually Do
• Litigation Support: Support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, including discovery, trial, and arbitration preparation.
• Document Management: Manage document reviews, large-scale productions, deposition preparation, trial exhibits, witness files, privilege logs, and deposition summaries.
• Case Analysis: Organize and analyze case materials, conduct legal and factual research, and assist with drafting legal correspondence, memoranda, and other documents.
• Database Creation: Create and maintain litigation databases using tools such as Relativity, CaseMap, Ringtail, Summation, Trial Director, Excel, or similar platforms.
• Quality Assurance: Proofread legal documents for accuracy, formatting, grammar, and legal citations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate, specializing in litigation support.
• Experience: 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including significant experience supporting Labor & Employment matters, and proficiency with litigation support software such as Relativity, CaseMap, Ringtail, Summation, Trial Director, and Excel, plus experience with online document repositories.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, research, writing, and communication skills, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
• Bonus: Trial support experience is a plus, and familiarity with Westlaw, LexisNexis, and time-entry systems such as Carpe Diem is preferred.
