This Litigation Paralegal position offers the opportunity to play an integral role in the progression of cases, from initial filing to their final resolution. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining the firm’s commitment to guiding clients successfully through their legal journey.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deadline Management: Proactively manage and meticulously track all critical deadlines associated with family law cases, ensuring all legal requirements and court mandates are met within specified timeframes from filing through resolution.
• Legal Document Preparation: Prepare, draft, and finalize a comprehensive range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, necessary for family law litigation proceedings.
• Discovery Organization: Systematize, collect, and manage all discovery materials, ensuring they are thoroughly organized and readily accessible for attorney review and case preparation.
• Client Communication: Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, providing regular updates on case status, gathering necessary information, and addressing inquiries under attorney supervision.
• Case Preparation: Conduct thorough preparation of cases for various stages, including compiling necessary documentation and exhibits for hearings, mediation sessions, and trials.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a demonstrated background and proven experience specifically in Florida family-law litigation, understanding the nuances and procedures unique to this legal area within the state.
• Experience: Significant practical experience in managing and supporting the litigation process, from the initial filing of a case through its final resolution, including involvement in preparing for hearings, mediation, and trial.
• Skills: Exhibit exceptional organizational abilities, a high degree of dependability in managing case responsibilities, and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, particularly in legal document review and preparation.
