What You’ll Actually Do
• Docket Management: Assist with managing multiple litigation dockets efficiently.
• Data Operations: Operate various databases for case tracking and document discovery processing.
• Pleading Preparation: Assist in the preparation of responsive and dispositive pleadings.
• Record Management: Request, organize, and review employment and medical records, and conduct fact research.
• Trial Support: Assist in preparing attorneys and witnesses for deposition, and provide support for filings, hearings, trial, post-trial appeals, including attending court proceedings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program, or equivalent experience, are required. This is a mid-level paralegal position requiring a strong understanding of legal terminology and principles.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of law firm experience is essential, with some specific experience in asbestos defense litigation. Technical competency with MS Office applications and familiarity with litigation discovery database operations (ProLaw, Everlaw, Relativity) is required.
• Skills: Highly efficient methods for document and information organization, exceptionally practiced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, the ability to prioritize multiple work streams while remaining deadline focused, and proven attention to detail.
