What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Draft, revise, and finalize legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Case File Management: Maintain and organize comprehensive case files, encompassing both electronic and physical records.
• Discovery Support: Assist with all phases of discovery, including drafting responses to requests, reviewing, and summarizing deposition transcripts.
• Docket & Calendar Management: Track court deadlines and accurately maintain litigation calendars, case timelines, and internal tracking systems.
• Trial Preparation: Prepare exhibits, organize trial binders, and coordinate logistics for depositions, hearings, and trials.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced paralegal with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to litigation practice.
• Experience: Proven experience in discovery, trial preparation, and comprehensive case management.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of both state and federal court procedures, coupled with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
