Litigation Paralegal | Kanner & Pintaluga

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-office role at Kanner & Pintaluga, with a Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule. Founded in 2003, Kanner & Pintaluga is a NLJ500 and Mid-Market Pro 50 law firm that has successfully recovered over $1 billion for property damage and personal injury clients nationwide. With nearly 100 lawyers and more than 30 offices across the Central and Southeastern United States, the firm is dedicated to achieving the most favorable outcomes for its clients. This role is crucial in directly supporting attorneys with ongoing cases, preparing for potential trials, conducting essential fact-finding, and maintaining comprehensive case files to ensure clients receive maximum compensation for their damages.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Perform: Execute paralegal and secretarial duties to support legal operations.
• Manage: Handle document management utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe software.
• Draft: Prepare legal court documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Communicate: Interact with clients regarding various case matters.
• Support: Perform other related duties as assigned to assist the legal team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level paralegal experience focused on legal support in litigation, specifically first-party property or general litigation.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of paralegal experience, including proficiency with case management software and experience e-filing in both state and federal courts.
• Skills: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish), proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, possessing excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload, and effective communication skills with clients and co-workers.
