The Tone:
This is a full-time role at TBG | The Bachrach Group, offering a hybrid work arrangement with 4 days on-site following a 90-day onboarding period. The Bachrach Group supports a busy plaintiff-side legal practice that specializes in handling sensitive and high-stakes civil claims. This position is vital for providing comprehensive support to attorneys and maintaining compassionate communication with clients, managing the full spectrum of litigation tasks from early case development through active proceedings in emotionally complex cases.

• Mission: This role ensures efficient and empathetic support for clients and attorneys, expertly managing the administrative and preparatory phases of sensitive civil litigation to facilitate successful case progression.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional and compassionate communication throughout their sensitive and high-stakes civil claims.
• Document Preparation: Prepare comprehensive summaries and written materials derived from client interviews, alongside drafting routine legal correspondence and authorization forms for various proceedings.
• Record Management: Accurately request, meticulously track, and organize all medical and related records, ensuring they are accessible and complete for case development.
• Case Administration: Assist actively with court filings and manage essential case administration tasks to ensure all proceedings advance smoothly and on schedule.
• Litigation Support: Provide general administrative and specific litigation support to attorneys, contributing to the efficient handling of cases from early development through active proceedings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A solid background within a civil litigation environment, comfortable navigating the intricacies of legal processes related to sensitive and high-stakes civil claims.
• Experience: Proven experience supporting cases, with a particular value placed on prior work involving personal injury, abuse, or trauma-related matters where empathy and discretion are essential. This includes managing litigation tasks from early case development through active proceedings.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail, crucial for managing multiple deadlines and meticulous record-keeping. Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal correspondence and summaries. A client-focused mindset with comfort and discretion in working directly with clients facing sensitive and emotionally complex situations.
• Bonus: Familiarity with medical records review is beneficial, as is paralegal training or certification. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are also a plus.
