What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Support attorneys comprehensively through all stages of litigation, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.
• Document Preparation: Prepare, meticulously revise, and proofread essential legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
• Court Filings: Manage and execute all court filings, including e-filings, in both state and federal court systems, adhering to specific court rules and deadlines.
• eDiscovery Support: Assist with document review processes, manage production requests, and contribute to various eDiscovery projects.
• Hearing Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate all necessary preparations for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Career. Requires a strong understanding of litigation procedures and comprehensive knowledge of court rules relevant to legal practice within a law firm environment.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on litigation paralegal experience acquired within a law firm or a comparable legal setting. Demonstrated practical experience utilizing eDiscovery platforms and various litigation support software is essential.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Exhibit excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills for effective case management and stakeholder interaction.
• Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail is critical for success in this role.
