What You’ll Actually Do
• Client & Partner Communication: Manage and facilitate ongoing, clear communication with clients and legal partners to ensure all parties are consistently informed and aligned throughout case progression.
• Legal Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain all relevant legal information and case details into the firm’s central database, ensuring data integrity for future reference.
• Case & Research Support: Provide comprehensive case assistance and in-depth research support to three dedicated partners, covering a broad range of litigation matters, including specialized immigration cases.
• Documentation Management: Systematically request, collect, and meticulously organize all necessary information and supporting documentation from clients via email, maintaining a clear and professional communication standard.
• File Preparation & Review: Thoroughly review case files for accuracy and completeness, then prepare finalized cases for official submission, including filings with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Level. Requires core domain knowledge in litigation practices and a foundational understanding of immigration matters.
• Experience: 3–5 years of direct litigation-based paralegal experience is required. Proven proficiency in utilizing Google Drive, MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat for document and case management.
• Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions. Demonstrate strong organizational abilities and a highly detail-oriented approach to tasks. Exhibit a proven capability to effectively manage multiple cases concurrently with precision and maintain strong multitasking skills.
