What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare and format various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence.
• Court Filings: Manage all aspects of state and federal court e-filings accurately and efficiently.
• Calendar Management: Maintain litigation calendars and diligently track all key deadlines for assigned attorneys.
• Litigation Support: Assist with discovery processes, document production tasks, and comprehensive trial preparation efforts.
• Administrative Coordination: Support attorney billing, time entry, and general administrative coordination tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior. Core knowledge in litigation legal secretarial practices within a law firm environment.
• Experience: 7+ years of dedicated litigation legal secretary experience, with strong demonstrated proficiency in state and federal court filings.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Word formatting skills (including Tables of Authorities (TOA), Tables of Contents (TOC), and styles), practical experience with PACER and CM-ECF systems, and strong organizational skills for litigation calendaring.
