What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Documents: Prepare and format essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and various legal correspondence.
• Court Filings: Manage all state and federal court e-filings efficiently and accurately for litigation cases.
• Calendar Management: Maintain comprehensive litigation calendars and meticulously track all critical deadlines.
• Litigation Support: Assist with discovery processes, document production, and comprehensive trial preparation.
• Administrative Coordination: Support attorneys with billing procedures, time entry, and general administrative coordination tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is a senior-level position requiring extensive experience as a litigation legal secretary within a law firm environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of legal procedures and administrative support specific to complex litigation matters.
• Experience: A minimum of seven years of dedicated litigation legal secretary experience is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong practical experience with state and federal court filings, including proficiency with systems such as PACER and CM-ECF. Furthermore, proven experience supporting multiple attorneys in a busy litigation practice is required.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word is crucial, encompassing sophisticated formatting capabilities such as Tables of Authorities (TOA), Tables of Contents (TOC), and custom styles. Demonstrated expertise in managing state and federal court e-filings is also a key technical skill. Strong organizational skills for maintaining litigation calendars and tracking key deadlines are also required.
